The impact will be huge because kids in public schools will have more stuff to fool with during class while private schools have more advantages for using technology. As an English teacher, I don't think it matters what technology whether handheld or not, is used in my classroom. The name of the game for my classes will be expression through language, which won't limit them to using technology or writing with a pencil. I doubt that the schools I will work at will have many advantages involving technology ecause I plan on teaching at inner-city schools or abroad. Thank you.
